The Vision and Craftsmanship Behind Carolina Hardscapes

Kenny Burns is a resident of the Midlands of South Carolina and the owner of Carolina Hardscapes, LLC, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the landscape and hardscape industry. A graduate of Spartanburg Community College, Kenny holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Horticulture Technology as well as a degree in Automotive Service Technology. His diverse skill set extends beyond landscaping to include plumbing, painting, mechanical work, and the construction of custom projects such as decks and docks.

Kenny’s artistic vision is most evident through his landscape design and maintenance work. Known for his extensive plant knowledge and creative use of color and texture, he specializes in designing landscapes that are both functional and visually distinctive. His favorite plants include daylilies, hostas, ferns, farfugiums—commonly known as Tractor Seat Plants—and hydrangeas. He is also well known for incorporating Japanese Maples as elegant focal points within his landscape designs.
